Foodie
As promised, here's the first in a series of thematic posts. This one deals with Fionna and her ongoing exploration of food.
She has "learned" that onions make you cry when you cut them. Actually, she was just told that by mom, and then proceeded to pretend to cry for awhile, as presented in this overly dramatic pose:
Raspberries are about as "Not in the 100-mile-diet" as you can get right now in North Bay, and yet, Fionna continues to like them. They get used as thimbles most of the time prior to consumption:
And finally, much to the delight of mom and dad, Fionna's become interested in chopsticks ("topticks"). Sheryl found a bunch of the plastic spring-loaded ones attached at one end, and Fionna took to them immediately. Here she is eating stir-fry. Much to Sheryl's chagrin, she was not aware I was snapping wide-angle photos and I have not cropped out her funny faces.
Any of you who know Fionna well have met "Bo". (Bo as in Bo Peep, the Sheep, aka Lammy Bear. It may also refer to the fact that he wears a bow around his neck, which always seems to come untied when Fionna isn't getting enough attention. "My bow done PLEASE?")
In any case, apparently, Bo got hungry last night after waking up from a nap. Or maybe Fionna was just trying to keep the Cheerios away from Abby...her favorite new sport.
